HAPPY NEW YEAR

Okay.Since I have, just like you and everyone else around, decided to adhere to a calendar which was invented in the sixteenth century; I feel obliged to say HAPPY NEW YEAR.💫💯

Wait!!Allow me to help us jog our minds a little bit.Hey you, let's take a walk.On a fancy road of history.Recent history.We are progressively becoming old, so we won't strain our minds much.

Oh!!Now you're complaining .You don't want to remember??Louder please❗, I can't make out what you're saying.Are you supposing that history is history.And should not be, in any case, referred to??Well, let's force ourselves.You and I remember the transformation that took place between 31st December, 2021 and 1st January, 2022.Am not quite sure whether the transformation took place in our hearts and souls or in that situation only.

Are we not the ones who from that moment began calling 2022 a year of hope.'Our year.' And just yesterday I heard you say, and I also said, that 2022 has  been an year of agony👀, and that we have learnt the lesson.What happened with 'your and my year'.Oh!! Don't you remember us, on 31st December,2021 cutting off people😂😂.Those in our circle that we thought, or perhaps knew are fake or have no benefits in our lives whatsoever.Do you mean that we meet these people in each cycle of 12 months.And have to eliminate them at the end of the cycle, because yesterday; 31st December,2022 I heard you and I say how we are doing away with them all, TO START AFRESH💀. Terrible!! Isn't cycle or am I being real with myself??I think of this matter, who's depth am unable to fathom.Try and understand it for me, won't  you? 

Another request please...Let's take a rest from this journey of recent history😌.

Yesterday, at 11:59pm you and I declared a change in our lives.'New year, new life.'💯 We muttered those words, in high tones or under our breaths.How we did it doesn't matter, all that matters is that we did say that.And if we hardly opened our mouths to enunciate those words, we thought about our 'new life' and if not, then we felt it.My thoughts wander as I wonder whether this will be another cycle, like the ones we(you and I) are used to.Deep down, you and I feel that we need that change😩, but the question remains, Are we keeping it real with ourselves?🙃  Well, I can't tell.You and I have made plans, which we believe are great.Don't be in a hurry, that's not the only belief, we also deeply believe that we will perfectly implement these plan, if at all perfect does exist.Am sorry, am not trying to discourage you, remember we're in this together.It's you and I.And the 'I' is me.🥲

Dear you and I, it's not all impossible.We just have to find the answer to this question; Is it really possible to achieve goals, which were unachievable using yesterday's approach, with the same yesterday's approach?You see, you have the answer!!Then what are we waiting for.Dear you and I, let's emancipate ourselves from this so obvious cycle.I rest my case.✨
